| deep groove, company sleeve、A面薄いヘアライン、スリーブマークで見た目VG++/VG+、B年の見た目VG++、聴感は両面ともVG++）北九州のK藤さんご夫妻がいらっしゃってリクエストを何曲かかけた後、奥様が「ドリス・デイのティー・フォー・トゥーがあれば聴きたい」とおっしゃる。「ドリス・デイは何枚かあったけど、あるかな？」と探したら・・・ありました、「デイ・イン・ハリウッド」の1曲目に。実はどの曲がどのレコードに入っているのか、よっぽど聴き込んでいるレコード以外は覚えていないのだ。ドリス・デイは歌手としてデビューし、間もなくレス・ブラウン楽団でレコーディングした「センチメンタル・ジャーニー」が大ヒットし一躍スターになったが、数年後には映画の世界に飛び込んでいる。以後1950年代はじめから1968年まで女優とヴォーカリストの二刀流で大成功した人である。このアルバムでは映画「カラミティ・ジェーン」より「シークレット・ラブ」、映画「情欲の悪魔」より「ラブ・ミー・オア・リーブ・ミー」ほか映画でドリスが歌った曲を集めたものでドリスのフェロモンをふんだんに浴びることが出来るのである。音もKinda no Otoに近い。 |
